Heart Beats Charity Auction Update

Last night I was busy designing the official flyer for the auction and I am very satisfied and happy about the outcome.I am getting more and more excited about the event daily and am enormously looking forward to it! Please also feel free to download the below flyer and share it with all the awesome people in your life.

I have also been very lucky because when we posted on of our add on Gumtree looking for help with the Heart Beats Charity Auction Annette Raison, a highly talented singer, contacted us to volunteer her skills and gorgeous voice on the day of the auction on the 12th May 2012. She has been of tremendous help with all her input and she is simply full of ideas plus always happy to help.

Tonight we are going to the Good Guys store in Joondalup to pick up another donation. The best thing is I have no idea what it is so it is a bit of a "Kinder Surprise". Hopefully it will fit into the I30.

Fundraising Update - 22 March 2012

We are getting closer; already raised $5,000 of $15,000! The best part about it is I am really enjoying it and having heaps of fun. It is definitely something that is getting me out of my comfort zone which is a great thing and I am learning lots of new things. Something I also love about it is knowing the fact that I am making a contribution to the heart health of all Australians!

Next week I am doing another morning tea at work with the help of my super supportive colleagues; this time it is going to be a French themed morning tea. I am sure it will be delicious and irresistible food! Everyone involved is enjoying trying new recipes and foods from different countries so I am sure it will be another success.

I have also been quite busy planning a charity auction. Most probably it is going to be on the 12 May 2012 but I am currently finalising a venue for on the day. It also looks like there will  be some entertainment because a gorgeous lady is volunteering her talent for the event. My items list is increasing daily with fabulous items such as vacuum cleaner, cruise tickets, signed and limited edition AFL tributes, dome items... It will be amazing! We are also planning on having some refreshments including some healthy morning tea options available for purchase. So stay tuned until I reveal the location of the event ;)

Update on the Fundraising

This week my beautiful mum organised a morning tea at her work to help us raise funds for the Heart Foundation. Mum made her famous and irresistible rhubarb pie and I made my yummy blueberry muffins. That morning she helped us raise another $50.50 with the help of all my beautiful friends at Jorgensens.

To date we have now raised a total of $1,394.20!
